WHAT IS A HUD HOME?
A HUD home is 1-4 unit residential property obtained by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as a result of a foreclosure on an FHA loan. HUD Homes are sold to home buyers and investors in the community only through registered HUD real estate brokers.
